Is this appropriate? What kind of quality is this?

But people from your family also run to the homes of people downstairs to watch them repair the floor. If they repair it quickly, they shout:
"Hey! Learned from my family, copying homework."
If they find that someone seems to be repairing slowly, they say:
"Oh my, this family is repairing so slowly, not as fast as my family. My family is really good!"
Is this appropriate? What kind of people are these?
And someone from your family is shouting in the corridor: "Fortunately, the water leakage happened in my house first! If it happened in someone else's house, it would be miserable!"

Instead of admitting mistakes, he mocks the people downstairs for not being able to copy homework. This has won applause from many of his fans.
When I read this article, I was initially very angry, but then I calmed down. I think this former colleague of mine is not another evil outside the "Four Big Evils". We should still be able to communicate or have a debate in writing.
What I want to say is that Liu Shenleilei's article gives me the impression that he lives and even indulges in his own world, and uses the right and wrong of this virtual world to imagine the real world that China is facing. Maybe he has really read too many Jin Yong novels, and his thinking structure dares to be "above life", floating and spinning. Whatever I imagine, the world is like that.
Even the WHO, an authoritative organization, has clearly stated that the coronavirus exists worldwide, and its origin has not yet been determined. They oppose labeling it with regional tags. Academician Zhong Nanshan also clearly stated that the epidemic first appeared in China, but it may not have originated in China.
But Liu Shenleilei calls on the Chinese people to take full responsibility for this situation, which he describes as the upstairs leaking and flooding the entire building downstairs. He advocates that this is the virtue that the Chinese people and the government should have.
I believe that Liu Shenleilei may not know that there is a large group of people in the United States and the West who want to portray China as a global disaster, that is, China has leaked and flooded the entire building below. Do you think you have a high style? Do you think this will win China favor around the world? China taking the blame like this will only provide more ammunition for malicious forces to attack us, and they may take this opportunity to launch more substantial attacks on China.
This epidemic came suddenly. Before it, the United States had pushed its strategy of suppressing China to the peak of the past few decades. Just look at how the United States is trying its best to kill Huawei, and you will know how ruthless some elites in the United States who have the ability to shape policies towards China are. This epidemic will not interrupt the malicious actions of those people. Look at the remarks of US Secretary of State Pompeo and Senator Cotton, who are trying to blame China. Doesn't Mr. Liu Shenleilei think that his analysis and logic are too Americanized? Is he too naive and bookish?
I guess Liu Shenleilei didn't think so much. He just wanted to write an article that would go viral on the Internet and show how different he is. He found a relatively fresh point of "self-reflection" to gather the various emotions of dissatisfaction in the public opinion field in recent times. In fact, the entire epidemic has made China bear the blame, which is not the will of the majority of Chinese people at present. All Chinese people have seen the serious problems in Wuhan's initial response to the epidemic, and there may still be shortcomings today.
At the same time, China quickly brought the situation under control, the epidemic reversed, and it formed a new comparison with the severe outbreaks in many countries later, and people's understanding gradually became more complex. Especially when combined with the increasing suspicion that the US new crown epidemic and influenza epidemic are mixed together, it must be said that the metaphor of "flooding the downstairs" is too sensational.
I have never opposed the occurrence of diverse opinions and collisions in the public opinion field, but Liu Shenleilei's move can be regarded as a show of weakness.
