It is said that Hubei has started "positive energy writing" training for writers. It is estimated that it is a "boldly demanding the world to thank China" writing style crash course. It is also said that Liu Liu, a Singaporean Chinese patriotic writer, is going to Wuhan to write a positive energy anti-epidemic drama and has published a declaration of expedition full of positive energy called "My Responsibility" to complete the national mission with a childlike heart.
Completing the national mission is an honorable thing. My only question is: which country's childlike heart does a Singaporean carry? If it's China, it's a bit of a waste to immigrate to Singapore and then come back. I have read the comments of eight and a half parts, and various plot lines have emerged in the minds of the melon crowd: the husband being blocked outside the city, the mother-in-law turning the world upside down, the wife discovering his mistress is pregnant, but as a doctor, she has an obligation to take care of her; or the husband and wife arguing to go to the front line, drawing lots to decide who stays behind to accompany the newborn baby, volunteers secretly going to the epidemic area, being mistaken by the wife as meeting the mistress... There is positive energy hidden in the melodrama, and melodrama exaggerated in the positive energy, equivalent to the running cloth road in the animation.
Look, these actors who have encountered difficulties in the rise of the nation. I think "positive energy writing" is no different from the success courses that are splattered at major airports across the country. It's the same kind of cunning trick.
In fact, it is the people of Wuhan who shout "it's fake, it's all fake" that represent positive energy. At least this ancient style of rolling nail board helps solve some practical problems. But when they put on a heroic posture in front of the leaders and shout loudly "there are no difficulties", but turn around and engage in deception, that is negative energy, equivalent to the wealthy in the soap opera when the Huai River bursts its banks.
Everyone knows that the story of the Wuhan epidemic can be summarized as: due to concealment and delay in reporting, it has led to a devastating death toll and a national crisis. The people of Wuhan are positive, they did not take to the streets, nor did they have people like Liu Tong 120 years ago who accidentally threw a cigarette butt into a trash can. They just lay quietly at home, silently counting masks and food, silently bidding farewell to their loved ones, silently believing in the government and the Party, at most opening a flashlight and blowing a whistle to commemorate that doctor... In contrast, there are scenes of pregnant women unable to receive treatment and two lives lost, girls chasing after the funeral car crying "Mom, don't leave me", and an old man leaving a message under a Weibo post seeking help for a hospital bed: my wife just passed away, freeing up a bed, I hope it can help you... and there are whole families wiped out.
In such a situation, some of them are still voluntarily delivering groceries, picking up people, and delivering medicine, but they have been reported and received a notice of suspicion of committing a crime. Believe me, I have been to more than 50 countries and regions, and I have never seen such obedient people. Think about Moon Jae-in apologizing for the inadequate supply of masks, think about hundreds of cowboys and state police in Nevada, at least you should look up at the starry sky and sigh, "My fellow countrymen, I am late, thank you all."
But Liu Liu, a Singaporean patriotic screenwriter, thinks that the Chinese people are not positive enough and need to be further educated. In her declaration of expedition, she pointed out that perhaps only the Chinese Communist Party truly treats disaster relief as a national mission. When the people of Wuhan shouted "it's fake" during the inspection by the General Secretary, I know they feel wronged, but I also want to add that my 84-year-old mother-in-law, who is widowed and lives alone, has received free groceries from the neighborhood committee five times within this month because we cannot go back, and this is true.
The drama is over, it's easy to lose the rhythm. The higher-ups have already started to thank the people wisely, and you are still adding fuel to the fire. There is a funny public account called "Zhangjiang Socialite" that says: please tell me which community your mother-in-law lives in. She has received free groceries five times in a month. When you arrive in Wuhan, don't rush to write the script. First, give the neighborhood committee a banner to thank them for not abandoning an 84-year-old elderly person in a life-threatening situation. After that, you can also include it in the script. This touching story deserves to be seen by the masses. Otherwise, it will be obscured by those few owners who shout "it's fake" and "overpriced groceries".
Actually, I no longer oppose positive energy writing, but please, when you are in a state of chicken blood, learn to be dignified. I have tried to analyze this writing approach: if there were no officials concealing the outbreak, there would be no epidemic; if there were no epidemic, there would not be so many deaths; if there were not so many deaths, there would not be leaders inspecting; without the concern of the leaders, where would the 40,000 medical staff and the nationwide support for masks and vegetables come from? If there were none of the above, could you still survive? This line of thinking also appeared during the Wenchuan earthquake: disasters are heartless, but people have compassion (oh my, Liu Liu actually used this line again). If there were no shoddy construction projects, the children would not have been crushed. If the children were not crushed, the leaders would not have paid attention. Once they paid attention, they built new school buildings that could withstand a ten-level earthquake, which is much better than before. Even if they become ghosts, they will still be romantic.
In the past, the emperors liked to issue their own decrees. Even the lenient Shunzhi issued fourteen decrees, one of which was to apologize to the whole country for spending too much on the lavish burial of his beloved concubine, Dong Efei. Under the heavens, there is no king who is not the ruler. Why did he think that even as an emperor, he should pay attention to his image? Look at his acting skills.
In fact, being dignified is also a method of positive energy performance, but Liu Liu is not sincere. She said that she had rejected others' invitations to write scripts about Wuhan twice before. She said, "I don't like eating blood-filled steamed buns." But the third time, she immediately went. The reason for changing her mind was "every ordinary person with yellow skin." She thought that foreign countries were too Buddhist and that China was strong. She suggested that China strengthen its credit system and use mobile phone data to punish the public. She thought that Chinese laws were not strict enough. A Singaporean cares so much about the loopholes in Chinese laws, fearing that low-quality people will take advantage of them. This is so positive that she is the first applicant to apply for the "Foreigner Permanent Residence Regulations" at the right time.
I don't know when it started, but as long as you pretend to be patriotic, being undignified also represents a kind of positive energy. The more undignified, the more positive energy. For example, Sun Yang breaking the blood vial and unprofessionally questioning the identity of the blood testing team and revealing their ID numbers; for example, "Thank you, Mr. Coronavirus"; for example, the notorious Youth Apartment satirizing the Australian bushfires; for example, saying that the novel coronavirus originated from the American flu... You don't even need to think about the fact that the flu happened last September. With the strong infectivity of the virus and the lack of prevention in the United States, this country has not even reached half of the cases.
In order to give the country some face, they are willing to let the country lose face. This writing style is the same as the way the Boxers fought against the foreign powers. There is a U-shaped lock hidden in their thinking. Believe me, these positive energies are not about how patriotic they are, they are just trying to make money and put themselves in a safe and glorious position. They belong to the performance department of the New Oriental Cooking School. Unfortunately, there is no Yuan Xiangcheng giving the order: come, shoot a row of bullets at the chest of the eldest senior brother, if he dies, he is a fake senior brother.
I have seen a term called "leek essence", which includes many post-90s. Apart from showing off their stupidity in the fan circle, they also have a hatred for outsiders. I happened to see a memory in the "Half City Club". Liang Qichao said, "The saddest thing in the world is to see a group of good young people gradually go astray."
The young people don't know that this is the wrong path, they count money while walking, which is even more sad than going astray. We are all adults now, and I hope that during the writer training courses and the positive energy education of Singaporean Chinese patriotic screenwriter Liu Liu, they can quietly recall whether their children have immigrated. They can act, but don't act so aggressively. When dealing with young people, try to be dignified. After all, it is immoral to drag young people who are inexperienced into the pit. Don't let them think that the whole world only exists in the cocoon of the internet.
Finally, I suggest that in addition to the positive energy scenes such as the mistress turning over a new leaf and going to the cabin, Liu Liu's script should also include the thorough investigation mentioned by Fang Fang. As fellow writers, let me remind you not to write a "My Responsibility" in the style of a wolf warrior. Your greatest responsibility is to take the money from the client (in this case, the taxpayers) and do the job with dignity.
